Roy and Kathi Blose of Hummelstown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 21. They met at Kutztown State College and were married on that date in 1965 in Reading. Full Story

Ardys Almeda Bowerman
Ardys Almeda Bowerman, 94, longtime resident of Hershey, passed away June 28, 2015.
A memorial service will be held in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 212 Cocoa Ave, Hershey, on Monday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Joint inurnment with her husband will take place at 2 p.m. later that day in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Full Story
James Lynn Brandt
James Lynn Brandt died Saturday, Aug. 15. He was born on May 3, 1928, to the late Martin Shearer and Annie Farver Brandt in Lancaster, growing up in Elizabethtown.
Jim was a graduate of Hershey High School, Class of 1946 and received a degree in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College in 1954. Full Story
